  There isn't much in Coldwater, Ms. The Fred's is one of two options for stores. (We do have 5 food options...but Two are gas stations.) I like this store very much. They have great markdowns most days, set aside and easy to navigate. Their prices are reasonable like most Fred's. No pharmacy at this location, but you wont find a better one than Julie at the Hernando Fred's, when it comes to their prices and pharmacy. The difference from that one and the state line rd one varies so much that it was more than worth it to make the drive South when i lived in horn lake and gas was nearing $5 a gallon, for reference. Plus, there's a pharmacy a couple doors down from this anyway. The only reason I don't give this one 5 stars is because their hours are unbearably stupid. The Google info is inaccurate. This Fred's isn't open past 6 pm; possibly 7 on one day. It is closed on sundays, AND Mondays. I'm convinced everyone closes when there's a football game, no matter the hours posted on the door, so keep that in mind. The hours are not consistent so I couldn't even edit them here. I know they close at 6 on wednesdays, and i know they aren't open Sunday and Monday. I will check the other hours tomorrow on my trip. But if you need something past dinner, and don't want to go to the dollar General, you're gonna have to go one exit South or north, or maybe East on 306. But im pretty sure there's just another dollar store that way anyway. WHEN open, I love this Fred's. If their hours were more consistent with hernando, I'd give it 5 stars, but this is a very small town and that may be why they close earlier. What can you do.
